The Pumpkin Patch

Several varieties of pumpkins are grown at Russell Farms. Individuals, groups, or classes can take a ride on a hay wagon to pick their own special pumpkin.

Corn Mazes

There are two corn mazes this year, depending on the amount of time you are wanting to spend at the farm and/or level of difficulty. A smaller maze with a scavenger hunt theme is available for anyone wanting to find their way around while searching for designated farm items throughout the maze. A larger, 5 acre maze is available for those with more time and eager for a real challenge.

Farm Exhibits

The farm animal exhibit has been enlarged for anyone wishing to learn the animals' habits and usefulness on a farm.

A Russell Farms educational video and group discussion, along with interactive farm stations, not only educates each child on how several crops on a farm are grown, or teach the responsibility that is required when owning farm animals and managing crops in a field, but he/she will also experience, first hand, several of the important chores on a farm, and enjoy every minute of it! Children of all ages will have a blast and remember this exhibit for a long time! (This program meets the qualifications under Indiana's Academic Standards!)

Country Store

A Country Store is located on the farm, full of Fall decorations, fudge, apple butter, toys, candles, clothing, candy, warm apple cider, and much more!

Snack Shack

Plan on eating lunch or a snack while at Russell Farms. Hot dogs, walking tacos, chips, apples (even with caramel), sodas, hot chocolate, coffee, apple cider and more are available at the Snack Shack. Many picnic tables are under a tent for everyone's convenience.

Other Activities

A mini-golf course with a farm theme, horse pedal carts, pedal tractors, a playground, huge straw pile to jump into, and several activities that even adults will have fun playing, are just some of the activities that can be enjoyed at Russell Farms!
